I arrived in the UK in 2005, with no connections, capital, or comfort.

What I did have was ambition. The drive that turns bartenders into business owners, and dreamers into founders.

I built and sold multiple hospitality businesses from scratch. People-first thinking and a solid instinct for what works, is proof that if you understand people, you can build something meaningful, impactful, and profitable.

But even in those buzzing venues, I saw something change. People were out, but not really present. The energy had shifted. Conversations faded. Screens took over.

That's when an idea started - what if there was an app for that? Tech that bridges the gap to reconnection.

Six years later, that idea has a name: CliQmates.
